Backup this is an important issue. How do you plan to recover from a system meltdown.  The most basic method is to copy your data to a second location, like a portable hard drive, dvd, cd or thumb drive.  Each of thes methods have their limits as well as risks to thier media.  Any method is good. Rember you also have to have a way to rebuild ie you must have your operating system and other software disks.  Below is a link to Carbonite.  This is one of the least expensive online backup systems I have ever dealt with. They offer all the storage you need for one flat fee.  Give them a try you do not evenhave to give them a credit card during the trial.
